Johnson Lecture on 'Jesus, Marriage and Divorce' Available on YouTube

Luke Timothy Johnson's lecture, "Jesus and the Law of Marriage and Divorce," is now available on YouTube.
Johnson delivered the Alonzo L. McDonald Lecture in Christianity and Law February 8 at Emory Law as part of CSLR's 'When Law and Religion Meet' lecture series. Johnson is Robert W. Woodruff Professor of New Testament and Christian Origins in the Candler School of Theology and a CSLR Senior Fellow.
Coming up Next
The final lecture in the spring lineup takes place March 21, 12:30 p.m. at Emory Law. Michael J. Perry, Robert W. Woodruff Professor of Law and a CSLR Senior Fellow, will discuss "Freedom of Religion, Same-Sex Marriage, and the Catholic Church." Perry is a world-renowned scholar in the areas of American constitutional law; law, morality, and religion; and human rights theory. He will analyze the modern controversies surrounding same-sex marriage and the Catholic Church’s stance from the perspective of the constitutional right to religious freedom.
