CSLR Director John Witte, Jr. has embarked on a Pacific Rim summer lecture tour to highlight contentious issues of law and religion. His first stop is Hong Kong, June 24-25, where he is discussing "Christian Faith and Public Values: The Modern Christian Challenges in Law and Politics" at Hong Kong Baptist University, "The Challenges of Religion and Human Rights in a Post-Modern Secular Age" at the University of Hong Kong, and hosting a seminar on marriage. In mid July he heads to Australia where he will deliver the Sir George Turner Lecture at Melbourne Law School, titled "Are Bills of Rights Friends or Foes of Religion?," and two lectures at Adelaide Law School, "Rights, Resistence, and Revolution: Protestant Contributions to Western Rights Talk" and "The Covenant of Marriage: Biblical Foundations and Modern Applications."
