Interim Managing Director and Research Director for Law and Christianity at the Center for the Study of Law and Religion, Emory University.

    Justin Latterell is the Interim Managing Director of the CSLR. His work focuses on secularization and the intersections of religion, ethics, and law. In addition to serving as Interim Managing Director, he is also the Research Director for Law and Christianity at CSLR.

    He previously served as Assistant Professor in the Practice of Sociology and Religion and Director of the Lilly Grant for Financial Literacy at Candler School of Theology; and as Associate Book Review Editor for the Journal of Law and Religion, published by Cambridge University Press.

    Latterell received the PhD from Emory University, a Master of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor of Arts from Augustana University.
