In Memoriam

The faculty and staff of the CSLR are deeply saddened by the passing of Don S. Browning (1934-2010), our first Robert W. Woodruff Visiting Professor of Interdisciplinary Studies, who was a mentor, colleague and true friend to all of us.

We also sorely miss our "chief" Harold J. Berman (1918-2007), considered the father of the modern field of law and religion, and our gracious associated faculty member Nancy Eiesland (1965-2009), a pioneer of disability studies. We honor their great gifts, contributions, and vision.
