The faculty and staff of the CSLR are deeply saddened by the passing of our "chief" Harold J. Berman (1918-2007), considered the father of the modern field of law and religion, and our gracious associated faculty member Nancy Eiesland (1965-2009), a pioneer of disability studies. We honor their great gifts, contributions, and vision. They are sorely missed.
