W. EDWARD CRAIGHEAD is J. Rex Fuqua Chair in Child Psychiatry and Vice Chair of Child, Adolescent, and Young Adult Programs at the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. He has written or edited 11 books and has published more than 150 papers primarily regarding major depression and bipolar disorders. Craighead has served on editorial boards of numerous mental health journals and as president of several professional organizations. He has received awards for his professional and scientific work.
