COREY L. M. KEYES is Associate Professor of Sociology at Emory University. He has written numerous articles and books, including Risk and Resilience in Human Development and Women and Depression: A Handbook for the Social, Behavioral, and Biomedical Sciences (with Sherryl H Goodman). Keyes' commentary has appeared in The Chronicle of Higher Education and Atlanta Magazine.
