Strategic Framework:

The Center for the Study of Law and Religion promotes and produces innovative research and scholarship, exemplary teaching and training, robust public engagement, and generous support of individual faculty initiatives at the intersection of law and religion.

The Center's work is three-dimensional, focused on Religious Perspectives, Legal Perspectives, and Interdiciplinary Methods

For 2018-2025, the Center will continue its traditional focus on Law and Judaism; Law and Christianity; Law and Islam; and Law, Religion, and Human Rights. It will bring together ongoing work on Law, Religion, and Jurisprudence into a dedicated focus area, and it will establish two new focus areas on Law, Religion and Social Justice, and Law, Religion, and Health
