Tara, a senior in the College majoring in International Studies and Sociology, was chosen from a competitive pool of student employees across Emory University and we are proud to congratulate her for this well-deserved honor.

Tara has been a member of our Digital Scholarship Support Team since January 2020. During her time here, Tara has has demonstrated outstanding enthusiasm for her work and an exceptional ability to learn and communicate new things. Her curiosity and initiative consistently result in high-quality work that reliably exceeds expectations. Among her many responsibilites at the Center, Tara is an integral member of the Canopy Forum editorial team, has played a significant role in the development of CSLR's Scholarly Commons, and has led our team's captioning and video archiving projects.

In her own words: “My experience as a Digital Scholarship and Administrative Support Team member for the Center for the Study of Law and Religion (CSLR) at Emory’s Law School over the past several semesters has been invaluable. I have been part of a team of incredibly supportive student and staff members who have encouraged my personal and professional growth. This position has empowered me and offered me a space to explore. Moreover, it gave me opportunities to acquire new skillsets and take initiatives that I would otherwise have been unable to experience. The guidance and support that I have received from my fellow teammates is probably my favorite thing about being an Emory student employee."
