Associate Professor of Comparative Public Law, University of Padova Law School

Pin has taught Comparative Public Law, Economic and Social Rights, Italian Constitutional Law, Islamic Law, and Human Rights. His research interests include comparative legal traditions, comparative constitutional law, European Union law, and Middle Eastern constitutionalism.

His more than 60 scholarly works have appeared in Italian, American, British, Spanish, and French journals and books. He has given speeches and conferences in China, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Rumania, United Kingdom, and the United States. he sits on the editorial board of the Springer Books Series on Law & Religion, the Italian Review of Comparative and European Public Law, and the Ephemerides Juris Canonici Law Review.

He was visiting professor at Emory Law School, where he taught Human Rights in Comparative Perspective; at Notre Dame Law School, where he taught EU Law; and at Catholic University of Sacred Heart, where he taught Interethnic Law. He was was a visiting fellow at the Kellogg Institute for International Studies at Notre Dame in 2014. He has clerked at the Italian Constitutional Court.

Pin holds a doctorate in public law from the University of Turin and a juris doctor from University of Padua.
