Five current and former CSLR students presented papers at the 2016 International Consortium of Law and Religion Studies Conference at Oxford University.

Emory Law students claimed six of 14 spots in the conference's Young Scholars sessions. “No other institution in the world had more than one young scholar get past the peer review committee,” said Mark Goldfeder, senior lecturer and Spruill Family Fellow. “Not only did our students write excellent papers, they presented them incredibly well.”

Pete Wosnic (JD/MTS 2017), Anton Sorkin (SJD), Ashley Barnett (LLM), Kurtis Anderson (JD 3L), and Patric Rako (LLM 2016) presented papers. Amin Sadri (LLM) had his paper accepted, but he could not attend the conference.
