Ancselovits is a Senior Lecturer at the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies, Lecturer at Yeshivat Maale Gilboa, Research Associate at Liverpool Hope University's Centre for War and Peace Studies, Researcher at Hebrew University's Melton Centre for Jewish Education, and Visiting Professor at China University of Political Science and Law.

Research projects include Jewish Law as Phronesis, the Psychology of the Commonality of Diverse Belief Systems, and Legal Epistemology and Semiotics in Light of Anthropological Psychology.

Ancselovits holds rabbinic and judicial ordination (Yoreh Yoreh and Yadin Yadin) from Yeshiva University. He holds a doctorate in the History of Jewish Law from Liverpool Hope University, and a master of arts in Modern Jewish Studies from Touro College. He completed coursework towards a master of arts in Medieval Jewish History at Yeshiva University and has taught Biblical and Qumran Law, critical Talmud, critical Zohar, and Modern Jewish and European Philosophy. He publishes articles in Hebrew and English on Halakha as Practical Philosophy.
