CSLR Director John Witte, Jr. has won two prestigious honors this spring: he’s been appointed to the Scholars Council of the Library of Congress’ Kluge Center, and Emory Law’s Class of 2012 Student Bar Association has named him Most Outstanding Professor of the Year, the 11th time he will receive this award.
The Scholars Council is a body of distinguished scholars, convened by the Librarian of Congress to advise on matters related to scholarship at the Library, with special attention to the Kluge Center and the Kluge Prize. In addition, Witte will serve as Cary and Ann Maguire Chair in American History and Ethics as a Kluge Center Resident Scholar from June through October 2012. He also served as a Resident Scholar during the winter of 2011
