The Protestant Reformation of the Church and the World (Westminster John Knox Press, 2018), edited by John Witte, Jr. and Amy Wheeler, examines the Protestant Reformation's influence on the church and the world, including art, music, literature, architecture, economics, trade, and banking. Transformations shifted power from the church to the state as they brought about radical new campaigns for freedom, equality, democracy, and constitutional order. Scholars contributing essays include Jeremy Begbie of Duke University and Cambridge University, Michael Welker of University of Heidelberg, and Mark A. Noll, University of Notre Dame.
